Hello! Welcome! I am Teresa & I am from the Hudson Valley.
I have always found art healing and have been creating with all and any materials I find. Since childhood, art and creating have been my sanctuary; my meditation. I found working with clay and glass to be cathartic on many levels. I thoroughly enjoy puzzles and have a similar infinity for that same sense of gratitude when I complete one as when I am creating art.
I received a dual major in studio art and psychology in undergrad school and later dually majored in art therapy and art education to receive my masters degree. Having a wonderful career as an art educator/therapist, I augmented that with studying yoga. I spent over 10 years studying and teaching yoga.
I found graphic design purely by accident. I was taking classes at SUNY New Paltz for fun and one of the classes was basic graphic design. Well, that was such a challenge for me not having ANY background in computers. I worked harder in that class than any other and much like puzzles I became obsessed with getting it.
I am on track to graduate in the fall of 2022 with my BFA in graphic design and I’m learning everything and anything I can about design.
